Social Media & Content Marketing Associate Full Time

Hi, we’re Esslo (www.esslo.org)! We’re leveling the playing field for access to higher education by giving every student access to high-quality college application help. Over 90,000 students have used Esslo to earn admission to top-tier universities including Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, NYU, Georgia Tech, and many more.

The team member will contribute to our marketing team by creating social media content for parents on Facebook, Instagram, and our website’s blog. As a small team, you’ll work closely with the founders and get hands-on experience contributing to an early-stage startup with Stanford alums.

This is a part-time, paid hourly role with flexible hours. Role is fully remote.

Responsibilities: 

• Create 4-6 pieces of social media content per week
• Contribute to a content strategy that sparks engagement, promotes the Esslo brand, and educates viewers about our product
• Write informative content for blogs and LinkedIn that connects with our audience and elevates the brand 
• Engage with our community by responding to DMs and comments
• Plan and execute campaigns around college deadlines, and seasonal trends in admissions
• Commit 5-10 hours a week to Esslo
• Attend weekly meetings to sync up with core team

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Social media marketing experience, specifically with Facebook and Instagram
• Experienced with design software such as Canva and video editing such as CapCut
• Proactive and self-directed work style, with the ability to manage time and juggle multiple tasks independently
• Experience as a parent or college counselor is a huge bonus!
