Associate Director of Admissions Full Time

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Admissions to oversee all aspects of the admissions process, including communication with prospects, applicants, and incoming students, reviewing applications, and promoting the retention of accepted students to matriculation.
• Assist with planning and implementing open houses, new family events, and various other admissions activities, to promote recruitment and retention efforts.
• Meet with prospective students and their families during campus visits and lead campus tours.
• Assist in the tracking of admission data.
• Implement and manage the Host Family Program.
• Maintain and update New Family Portal.
• Work closely with Marketing and Development Departments, as well as Heads of Section.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required.
• Must have prior experience in an admissions role within a school environment.
• Knowledge of Montessori and/or IB education preferred.
• Prior experience in a school environment, preferably within an admissions department
• Competency with the use of technology; including student information database systems, preferably Veracross.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team as well as independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Must be friendly, outgoing and comfortable interacting with a wide audience of faculty, students, and within the community.
• Must be available and open to working a variable schedule including some nights, weekends for scheduled events throughout the year.
