Aprile is looking for an Ocean Import / Export Customer Service professional to join our Houston office and support daily ocean freight operations across import and export shipments.
This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with experience in international freight forwarding and strong operational coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate ocean import and export shipments
• Liaise with customers, agents, carriers and overseas partners
• Provide customer support throughout the shipping process
• Organize FCL and LCL shipments
• Review and manage shipping documentation
• Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates
• Coordinate with internal operations and customs teams
Candidate Profile:
• Experience in ocean import/export operations or customer service within freight forwarding
• Knowledge of international shipping procedures and documentation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Team-oriented and detail-focused mindset
