**Position Overview**
The Vice President of Marketing and Sales is responsible for the company’s overall marketing and sales growth strategies. This role oversees brand building, market promotion, customer acquisition, sales operations, and commercial growth frameworks, driving corporate revenue growth, market expansion, and enhanced customer value.
This position serves as a pivotal executive role connecting the Marketing, Sales, Product, Operations, and Customer Success teams. It focuses on boosting brand influence, driving customer growth, and executing commercialization strategies to support the realization of the company’s long-term business objectives.
**II. Core Responsibilities**
**1. Marketing and Sales Strategy Formulation**
* Formulate the company’s overall marketing and sales growth strategies.
* Establish frameworks for brand promotion, customer growth, and commercial operations.
* Ensure the alignment and execution of marketing and sales objectives with overall corporate strategy.
**2. Revenue Growth and Market Expansion**
* Drive new customer acquisition as well as expansion into new industries and regional markets.
* Develop plans for sales growth and market penetration.
* Increase market share and drive revenue scale growth.
**3. Brand Building and Market Promotion**
* Oversee brand communications, public relations, and marketing campaigns.
* Manage advertising placements, media partnerships, and brand assets.
* Enhance brand awareness and industry influence.
**4. Sales Operations and Pipeline Management**
* Establish systems for sales pipeline and revenue forecast management.
* Monitor sales processes, conversion rates, and project progression.
* Improve sales execution efficiency and closing rates.
**5. Digital Marketing and User Growth**
* Establish digital marketing and growth operations frameworks.
* Drive initiatives in SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media management.
* Optimize user acquisition, conversion rates, and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV).
**6. Customer Relations and Business Partnerships**
* Establish and maintain relationships with key accounts and strategic partners.
* Lead business negotiations and the signing of key partnership agreements.
* Enhance customer satisfaction and the long-term value of partnerships.
**7. Product Commercialization and GTM Strategy**
* Coordinate efforts across Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to drive commercialization.
* Develop Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and market entry plans.
* Support the growth of new products and innovative business initiatives.
**8. Data Analysis and Business Management**
* Establish KPIs for sales and marketing, along with a business analytics framework.
* Analyze data related to revenue, customers, market trends, and marketing performance.
* Provide data-driven insights and decision support to senior management regarding growth and market strategies.
**9. Global Markets and Channel Development**
* Drive expansion into international markets and regional business operations.
* Build channel partnerships and market ecosystems.
* Support global client engagement and cross-regional business collaborations.
**10.** Team Building & Talent Development
Manage Sales, Marketing, and Growth Operations Teams
Establish Performance Management and Talent Development Systems
Cultivate a High-Performance, Growth-Oriented Organizational Culture
III. Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher (in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field)
MBA preferred
20+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business Growth
15+ years of experience managing large teams
Professional Competencies
Deep expertise in Sales Management, Marketing, and Business Growth frameworks
Familiarity with Digital Marketing, Brand Building, and Customer Operations models
Proficiency in Business Analysis and Operational Management
Familiarity with CRM and Marketing Analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Power BI)
