La Lumiere School is excited to welcome applications for the position of Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We seek a dynamic and student-centered educator with experience teaching high school science, especially in biology and related fields. The teaching assignment will be shaped in part by the strengths of the successful candidate and departmental needs, and may include courses such as Biology, AP Biology, Environmental Science, and Earth Science. We are especially interested in candidates who can teach engaging, inquiry-based science courses that help students build strong analytical skills, scientific habits of mind, and an appreciation for the natural world.

Application Details
Faculty compensation packages are competitive. If a faculty member resides on campus, the school provides year-round housing and meals when school is in session for the faculty member and his/her family as a part of the benefits package. Other benefits include an optional health plan, a contribution to a 403(b) retirement account, and professional development opportunities.
