Full Job Description
General contracting company in need of a reliable Handyman to undertake minor repairs and touch-ups of our recently completed and new home builds. You must be well-organized with strong general repair and communication skills. Pay will be based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Tile and grout repair
- LVT repairs
- Paint touch-ups
- Stucco touch-ups
- Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
- Communicate with subcontractors regarding punchlist items
- Identify and report the need for major repairs
- Finish carpentry experience
- Window and window trim install
- Sliding glass door install and adjustments
- Clearly communicate with purchasing department regarding necessary orders
- Regular communication with manager regarding responsibilities
Skills
- Proven experience as handyman
- Experience with hand tools, battery operated tools, etc
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems
- Basic math skills
- Ability to clearly communicate with homeowners
- Well-organized and skilled in problem-solving
- Attention to detail
- Ability to create and maintain daily/weekly schedule
- Skilled in time management
- An eye for detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Experience:
- Handyman: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver’s License (Required)
