Manufacturing Engineering Assistant Full Time NEW

Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Assistant to support our engineering team as workload continues to grow with new customers and projects. This role is designed to offload day-to-day engineering support tasks, allowing Manufacturing Engineers to focus on higher-level project and customer work.

This is a great opportunity for a recent high school graduate or early-career candidate with CAD exposure and an interest in manufacturing and steel fabrication.

-Support Manufacturing Engineers with day-to-day engineering tasks

-Use CAD software to:

-Pull and review files

-Navigate drawings

-Take measurements and dimensions

-Assist with manufacturing process documentation and support

-Work with steel material specifications and basic fabrication concepts

-Enter and retrieve data within the ERP system (training provided)

-Perform general computer-based tasks to support engineering and production

-Help manage engineering workload related to new projects and customers

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Basic CAD experience

Ability to read, navigate, and dimension drawings is preferred over design creation

Comfortable working on a computer daily

Interest in manufacturing and engineering support work

Ability to work in a team-oriented, shop-focused environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Forrest, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $25.00/hr.
