About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Java/AWS Developer to join a high-impact engineering team building real-time payment processing systems. This role focuses on developing scalable, high-performance backend applications that support mission-critical financial platforms.

You will work in an agile, collaborative environment contributing across the full software development lifecycle—from design to deployment—while driving engineering excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and maintain event-driven, distributed systems
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs with a focus on performance and security
• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical solutions
• Contribute to system design, architecture decisions, and best practices
• Ensure high-quality code through testing frameworks and code reviews

Required Skills

• 8+ years of backend development experience
• Strong expertise in Java 11+, including:
• Streams, Collections, OOP, Multithreading
• REST API development
• Experience with Spring Boot / Microservices architecture
• Strong knowledge of event-driven systems and messaging tools:
• Kafka, SQS
• Hands-on experience with AWS services:
• SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Kinesis, EKS
• Strong experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of caching tools like Redis
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices
