Role Description

Scholar Spark is seeking a thoughtful and relationship-driven Manager of Academic Partnerships (MAP) to help grow and strengthen our school and student community. This is a part-time remote role for someone who can build trust with educators, students, and families while representing Scholar Spark’s mission, values, and academic offerings with clarity and care.

This role is best suited for someone with a background in education, college admissions, academic advising, college counseling, or related educational programs. The MAP is not simply a salesperson. This person should be a strong communicator and community builder who can develop long-term partnerships, attract aligned student candidates, and help foster a sense of belonging across Scholar Spark’s network.

Core Responsibilities

• Communicate Scholar Spark’s mission, values, programs, and student outcomes to high school teachers, counselors, students, and parents
• Build and maintain strong long-term partnerships with high schools and international education programs
• Represent Scholar Spark as a trusted academic enrichment partner for high school students
• Develop and execute outreach strategies to identify and attract strong-fit student candidates to Scholar Spark programs
• Build relationships with stakeholders across schools, students, and families
• Strengthen Scholar Spark’s broader community by helping develop and host online and in-person events for current Scholars, alumni, and partner schools

Qualifications

• Background in education, college admissions, academic advising, college counseling, or related educational programs
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to connect naturally with different stakeholders
• Ability to explain complex ideas clearly, thoughtfully, and persuasively
• Comfort working with school administrators, teachers, counselors, students, and parents
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage outreach and partnership-building efforts independently
• Alignment with Scholar Spark’s educational mission and values
• Experience with student recruitment, educational outreach, or partnership development is strongly preferred

Location

Part-time remote role.

• Candidates should be comfortable working across schools, students, and families in a relationship-centered role
• Flexibility for virtual meetings and occasional event support may be needed, depending on program and partnership needs
