Accountabilities

• Administer all employee leave programs, including FMLA, parental leave, disability, military leave, and other statutory absences while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
• Manage ADA accommodation requests and coordinate required medical documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on leave policies, providing guidance to employees, managers, and HR business partners.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date leave records and documentation within HR systems.
• Administer workers’ compensation claims from initial reporting through resolution, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
• Support coordination with third-party administrators and assist in determining case handling between internal and external management.
• Collaborate on compliance with state paid leave programs in coordination with legal and external partners.
• Complete required reporting, including OSHA-related documentation and annual compliance submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience in HR or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in leave administration, disability management, or workers’ compensation.
• Strong understanding of FMLA, ADA, state leave laws, and disability programs.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex policies clearly.
• Experience working with HRIS systems and maintaining detailed employee records.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a structured and deadline-driven environment.
