Role Description This is a part-time, remote Junior Mobile App Developer (Entry-Level / Associate) role at LaFA, La Filière Audiovisuelle. The person in this role will support the development and maintenance of mobile applications, implementing features under the guidance of senior developers. Daily tasks include writing clean, well-documented code, debugging issues, performing basic testing, and assisting with app updates across platforms. The Junior Mobile App Developer will collaborate with designers and product stakeholders to translate requirements into functional user interfaces, ensuring a consistent and accessible user experience. The role also involves participating in code reviews, learning and applying best practices, and contributing to the integration of mobile apps with back-end services and databases.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in Software Development and Programming, with an understanding of mobile app architectures and lifecycle.
- Basic knowledge of Databases and Integration to connect mobile apps with APIs and data services.
- Familiarity with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) or comparable styling concepts for mobile or web-based interfaces.
- Ability to learn new frameworks and tools quickly, with a strong interest in mobile technologies.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to follow coding standards and documentation practices.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional, remote teams.
- Relevant coursework, bootcamp completion, or personal projects in mobile development; a degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus but not required.
