Job Overview

Shelby Glass and Door Inc is seeking a skilled and reliable Glass Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, repairing, and replacing various types of glass in residential and commercial settings. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install glass for windows, doors, mirrors, and storefronts
• Remove and replace damaged or broken glass
• Install and seal glass using appropriate tools and materials
• Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members

Requirements

• Proven experience as a glass technician, glazier, or similar role
• Ability to safely handle glass and use installation tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
• Experience with commercial storefront systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
