Frontend Develope Full Time NEW

Role Description This is a part-time, remote Frontend Developer role focused on building and maintaining user-facing features for the Life Science Jobs Hub platform. The Frontend Developer will translate design mockups and product requirements into responsive, accessible, and performant interfaces using modern frontend technologies. Day-to-day tasks include implementing new UI components, refining existing pages, fixing bugs, and optimizing front-end performance across devices and browsers. The role will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver a consistent and intuitive user experience. The Frontend Developer will also contribute to improving the design system, code quality, and documentation to support future enhancements.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in core frontend technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar).
• Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and building accessible user interfaces (e.g., WCAG best practices, semantic markup).
• Familiarity with frontend tooling and workflows (e.g., Git, package managers, build tools, component libraries, or CSS frameworks).
• Ability to collaborate in a remote environment, including clear written communication, time management, and working effectively with distributed teams.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs and working with designers or product teams to refine requirements.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a user-centered mindset when shipping features or fixing issues.
• Previous experience in job platforms, marketplaces, or life science-related products is a plus but not required.
• Relevant education or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
