Job Responsibility:
- Execute & handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs
- Diagnose and handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building
- Respond to service requests regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in guest rooms or public area in a timely manner
- Respond to all emergency conditions such as alarms, fires, power failures, etc
- Electrical trouble shooting and repairs
- Perform electrical setups for banquets, buffets and exhibits
- Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized department and hotel
- Install or relocate any additional equipment or existing equipment when necessary
- Perform all duties as assigned by ADOE or DOE
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of HVAC & Plumbing systems operation and repairs
- Life and Fire Safety System Knowledge
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
- Mechanically inclined with all-around knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical and refrigeration
- Hands-on capabilities for repairs
- Steam and gas fired equipment knowledge
- Knowledge of proper use and care of hand and power tools
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
- Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact
- Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance
- Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment
- High school education or equivalent experience
- Ability to read and speak and write English
