Role Description

This is a volunteer remote role for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). As a CPA, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the organization with accounting and financial management. You will help maintain accurate financial records, develop and implement sound financial practices, and provide guidance on financial planning and reporting. Your efforts will significantly contribute to the success of Cues for Cancer’s mission of supporting individuals affected by cancer.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Financial Statements and general Accounting principles
• Knowledge and experience in Tax Preparation and Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certification
• Background in Finance with the ability to provide fiscal guidance and support
• Attention to detail, accuracy in financial record-keeping, and excellent organizational skills
• Exceptional communication abilities and the capacity to work independently in a remote setting
• Passion for supporting non-profit organizations and making a positive impact
• Experience in non-profit or charity finance is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
