We are seeking a motivated Chief Engineering to oversee the maintenance and engineering operations of our premier office building/hotel/business district.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chief Engineering at our property/business unit based in Jakarta Selatan.

The role is responsible for leading all engineering and maintenance operations of a high-rise office building, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety of all MEP systems. This includes managing and developing the engineering team, overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, resolving complex technical issues, and coordinating with vendors and contractors.

The Chief Engineering will also drive operational excellence through effective planning, budgeting, Owner Estimate (OE) preparation, and the implementation of energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in building systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Leadership and team management skills to lead and mentor engineering staff.
• Problem-solving, decision-making, and project management capabilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and energy efficiency practices.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Professional certifications in engineering or building management are a plus.
• Strong experience in high-rise building operations is highly preferred, while familiarity with the hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work in an on-site capacity and manage day-to-day operations effectively.
