Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential and light commercial Steel framing, as well as finishing work, with a strong focus on precision, craftsmanship, and quality. Any additional skills are helpful. Drywall (hang or finish), flooring or painting would be an excellent addition to the team. This role involves working on various projects that require expert carpentry framing skills, also including installing trim, cabinetry, doors, and other finish elements. Candidates should be comfortable working in a warehouse environment, interpreting blueprints, and utilizing a variety of hand and power tools to deliver exceptional results.

Duties

• Measure, cut, assemble, and framing to prep for all MEP work.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation
• Perform framing tasks including metal stud framing and wood framing as needed for finish work
• Utilize hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and caulking guns along with power tools for efficient installation
• Apply drywall, and drywall finishes, ready for painting to achieve high-quality results
• Install flooring materials such as tile or LVT flooring where required by project specifications
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean work environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, cabinetry installation, door hanging, or related construction fields
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating and blueprint reading skills
• Familiarity with various construction techniques including concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding installation, metal stud framing, electrical experience, plumbing, and remodeling
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols
• Heavy lifting capability and physical stamina to perform demanding tasks throughout the workday
• Knowledge of schematics and fabrication processes is a plus
• Previous experience in restoration industry or water damage restoration is advantageous
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different project requirements
• Valid driver’s license preferred for site travel
