Accounting Manager – $150K + Bonus Full Time NEW

The search division recruits highly skilled professionals on a direct hire and consulting basis. We service our clients primarily in the NYC area as well nationally through our AAFA network (45 financial staffing affiliates throughout the U.S. and Canada).

Our client is looking to augment their corporate accounting team with the addition of an Accounting Manager. This position will report into the Corporate Controller and manage the day to day accounting team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Recognition and manage the monthly/quarterly closing functions
• Prepare month end schedules of Balance Sheet and P&L accounts and monthly consolidated financial statements
• Manage and reinforce the accounting policies and processes, primary responsible for ensuring compliance with and the completion of all applicable controls and reconciliations of assigned areas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 6+ years of experience
• CPA and/or MBA is a plus
• Prior experience working in manufacturing industry a plus
• Advanced excel is a must
