Account Executive, Flavor Sales Full Time NEW

Our client is a growing and entrepreneurial manufacturer of flavors that are used by manufacturers of Beverages, Confections, Bakery items, Dairy products, Nutraceuticals, and much more. Their competitive advantage lies in their ability to provide food and beverage producers with a product that meets the highest standards of quality, excellence, with a keen eye on exceptional customer service.

We have R&D formulation labs and production sites in the USA. We work with the customers to help them develop innovative new products for the global market. We are looking to hire a sales professional who currently lives on the East Coast of the USA, has contacts at food and beverage accounts along the East Coast, and can hit the ground running. Must have 5 years of flavor sales experience.

Requirements:

• 5 years minimum prior experience working for a manufacturer of FLAVORS in an outside sales role
• A proven successful track record of generating new business within the targeted market segment (Beverages, Confections, Bakery items, Dairy products, Nutraceuticals)
• Current and relevant knowledge of customers within the targeted territory – New York Metro area, Philadelphia, Florida.
• A confident and hard-working attitude. Positive, upbeat, and enthusiastic personality.
• Entrepreneurial mindset. Someone who wants to run their own business and make important decisions that affect the business. Someone who thrives under a system that pays uncapped commissions.
• Bachelor’s degree desired – but not required (Food Science, Chemistry, or Nutrition preferred)
• Excellent negotiation skills, writing and presentation of contracts, etc.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Ability and desire to travel as much as needed to get the job done
