Netflix operates our streaming service control plane on Amazon Web Services, which has led to one of the largest and most sophisticated AWS environments in the world. Cloud Security for our public cloud deployments is essential to Netflix’s overall security posture, helping to protect our members, partners, employees, and intellectual property. This entails various capabilities distributed across a number of Infrastructure Security teams – cloud security paved roads, posture management, architecture, consulting and operational services. Within this charter, the Cloud Infrastructure Security team is responsible for building the cloud security paved road for low level security controls (eg: posture management, cloud identity management and lifecycle, policy management etc).

We are looking for a strong engineering leader for this team to enable our mission. In this role, you will lead and develop a world class team of security experts and software engineers. You will guide them through Netflix’s evolving business needs by building strong partnerships with infrastructure stakeholders and AWS partners. You will also help the team build and operationalize a strong operating rhythm to deliver core cloud security capabilities at scale.

• You have a strong technical understanding of Cloud Security concepts and related risk management.,
• You have an understanding of AWS infrastructure and security constructs (AWS configuration, policy management, identity lifecycle etc).

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $510,000.00 – $752,000.00. This compensation range will vary based on location.
