Job Title: Equipment Technician/Operator
Job Description
As an Equipment / PCB Technician, you will operate and monitor PCB manufacturing equipment during production, startup, and shutdown. Your role involves making basic adjustments to machines and processes to maintain quality and production standards. You will perform routine inspections, maintenance, and first-level troubleshooting, handle rework of nonconforming boards, and report issues to engineering or maintenance teams. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and safe work area by properly handling chemicals, managing supplies and waste, and following work instructions.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor PCB manufacturing equipment during production, startup, and shutdown.
Make basic adjustments to machines and processes to maintain quality and production standards.
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and first-level troubleshooting.
Handle rework of nonconforming boards.
Report issues to engineering or maintenance teams.
Maintain a clean and safe work area by properly handling chemicals and managing supplies and waste.
Essential Skills
Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
Calibration and repair of equipment.
Machine operation and production processes.
Electrical and mechanical skills.
Experience with test equipment and general labor.
Knowledge of GMP, electronics, and inspection.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of experience with printed circuit boards (PCBs), engineering laminates, electrochemical processes, and/or microelectronics fabrication.
Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office suite.
Experience working in a wet lab and handling hazardous chemicals.
Experience with production and inventory management software such as MES/ERP.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to identify and maintain priorities for tasks and projects.
Current or past certification for IPC-A-600, IPC-6012 or equivalent.

Work Environment
(Sun-Tue w/ rotating Wed OR Thurs-Sat w/ rotating Wed)—-> Day shift= 5a-5p and Night Shift = 5p-5a (average 45-50 hours a week)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45000.00 – $93000.00/yr.
