Role Description

This is a contract, hybrid role for an Engineering Technology System Analyst specializing in AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction), PMIS (Project Management Information Systems), and Data, based in Jersey City, NJ, with some opportunity for remote work. The System Analyst will be responsible for conducting system analysis, business analysis, and troubleshooting to ensure that technological solutions align with the organization’s needs. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing data workflows, implementing technology solutions, and resolving system issues to support operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Systems Analysis and advanced Analytical Skills
• In-depth knowledge of Information Technology concepts and tools
• Experience in Business Analysis to facilitate effective communication between technical and business teams
• Strong Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex system issues
• Familiarity with AEC and PMIS tools and technology applications

About the Role

Toll International is supporting a major infrastructure program with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and is seeking an Engineering Technology System Analyst to join its Engineering Solutions team.

This role sits at the core of engineering operations—supporting the applications, tools, and digital workflows used by engineering teams across large capital programs.

What You Will Do

• Administer and support engineering applications, including:
• Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Revit, Bluebeam, ArcGIS, and related platforms
• Support and maintain a large portfolio of engineering systems and applications
• Coordinate software deployments, upgrades, and version management
• Evaluate new engineering tools, platforms, and technologies for adoption
• Collaborate with Engineering, Technology, and Cybersecurity teams to ensure system compatibility and compliance
• Support engineering data workflows, including document management and digital project environments
• Manage software licensing, usage tracking, and system performance insights
• Troubleshoot application issues and implement functional improvements
• Develop system documentation and deliver training to engineering staff
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and support ongoing engineering technology initiatives

What We Are Looking For

We are targeting a hybrid AEC technology profile—not pure IT, not pure design.

• 5+ years of experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) sector
• Hands-on experience with:
• Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam
• Experience supporting engineering applications, BIM/VDC tools, or digital workflows
• Familiarity with engineering data environments, document management, or point cloud workflows
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with engineering teams

Preferred

• Experience with ArcGIS or geospatial tools
• Exposure to Azure or cloud-based data environments
• Experience evaluating or implementing engineering software platforms
• Owner-side or large infrastructure program experience
