Role Description
This is a full-time Civil Engineer II position located on-site in Albany, OR. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and reviewing civil engineering projects related to road and transportation infrastructure. Key tasks will include stormwater management design, supervising site inspections, preparing project specifications, and ensuring compliance with all relevant engineering standards and codes. You will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support various infrastructure improvement and maintenance projects to enhance the county’s transportation systems.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and knowledge of Civil Engineering principles
- Competency in Planning and execution of road and infrastructure projects
- Experience with Stormwater Management systems and techniques
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for Civil Engineers
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with engineering software and tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders
- Experience with local, state, or federal civil engineering projects is a plus
