Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with reliable driving record
• Able to pass background/drug test
• Able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
• Ability to climb occasionally and work at various heights
• Active Certification(s) in the list attached. We would prefer if you had one of this certifications:
• ACI Certification
• Nuclear Gauge (Nuke Gauge)
• Residential Building Inspector (B1) – Residential inspections, wood framing, single-family homes
• Commercial Building Inspector (B2) – Commercial structures, multi-story buildings, code compliance
• ICC Residential Certification (ICCRC) – Residential code enforcement and inspection
• ICC Commercial Certification (ICCSO) – Commercial building code inspection
• ICC Fire Protection Certification (ICCFP) – Fire safety systems and compliance
• ICC Structural Masonry (ICCSM) – Masonry inspection and structural integrity

Basic Function:

The Field Technician is responsible for performing construction materials testing, site observations, and inspections under supervision. This role supports project teams by collecting data, documenting results, and ensuring quality standards are met across job sites.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate testing equipment and perform field/lab testing on materials such as soil and concrete
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams to support testing and inspections
• Perform site observations and document construction activities
• Record and maintain accurate data from testing and assessments
• Provide basic analysis and limited interpretation of test results
• Follow established procedures and testing methods
• Assist with project-specific testing and reporting requirements
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on job sites
• Travel to various job sites to complete testing and inspection tasks
• Maintain organization and accuracy of all field documentation
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Perform additional duties as assigned
