Business Analyst/Modeler Are you looking to work for a company that provides an innovative work environment, and your voice is heard? We are looking for an experienced business analyst to work with stakeholders to create requirements and then design PowerBI models. In this role, the business analyst will be working with vague requirements, creating processes to pull data from disparate data sources, create models and keys, and validate the model which takes critical thinking, so this is an end-to-end role of the entire process. The role also involves ad-hoc work as well as major projects. This role works with sales data, revenue margin, categorization, Salesforce information CRM etc..

What you will be doing:
- Working with stakeholders to create requirements
- Design PowerBI models
- Create processes to extract data from disparate data sources
- Validate the model
- Create mockups
- Actively participate in reviews
- Gather and analyze business requirements for a new feature/view
What you’ll need to be successful:
Essential:
- College, university, or equivalent computer engineering or computer science or other relevant technical disciplines.
- Microsoft PowerBI experience is required
- Data modeling is required
- Some type of SQL is required
- MS office suit solid knowledge is required
- Humble, and teachable
- Effective and collaborative team player
- Independent
- Motivated
- Good communicator – written and verbal
Preferred:
- JIRA
- Easy BI is the technique for managing work
- PowerApps
- Tableau as part of salesforce
- SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- Microsoft Fabric platform
