Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated A Body Technician specializing in auto collision repair to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition after collision damage, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in auto body repair, sheet metal work, welding, and vehicle restoration will be essential in delivering exceptional results. Duties
- Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment to restore vehicles to factory specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, MIG welding, soldering, bench repair techniques to repair and refinish vehicles.
- Fabricate and shape sheet metal components for custom repairs or restorations, ensuring precise fit and finish.
- Conduct auto glass replacement and ensure proper sealing and alignment for safety and aesthetics.
- Maintain detailed documentation of repair processes, including auto estimating and vehicle repair reports.
- Must have I-car training
- Collaborate with and team members to provide updates on repair progress and ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience or extensive background in auto collision repair is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, fabrication, sheet metal work, and automotive restoration techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, maintenance procedures, and automotive repair processes.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto body repair tools effectively.
- Knowledge of auto glass installation, and auto estimating software is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate various shop equipment efficiently.

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
