Job Summary and Qualifications

1. Obtains quality CT images. Demonstrates competence in following established scanning protocols and exercises ability to adjust protocols as required.

2. Complies with radiation safety guidelines. Operates CT equipment safely.

3. Demonstrates ability to perform all necessary computer operations to ensure proper examination documentation and charges. Records pertinent data on CT requisition at all times.

4. Renders patient care in professional and courteous manner.

5. Prepares CT scanner and perform quality control tests. Monitors inventory of supplies and maintains room cleanliness and neat appearance.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• ARRT (CT) Registered- must obtain within 6 months of hire or start in position
• Three year experience as Radiologic Technologist
• Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent with appropriate National Registry(ies).
