Wire EDM Programmer Full Time NEW

Bruschi is an industrial production company with 75 years of history in zinc die casting.

We are looking for a Wire EDM Programmer for our facility located in the Milwaukee area.

The candidate we are looking for must have:

• 3 years’ experience as an EDM programmer and operator.
• Strong time management skills
• Able to work independently
• Journeyman Card as a toolmaker

And they will be responsible for the following job duties:

1. Set-up and maintain Wire EDM

2. Lay block in machine with print as guide

3. Indicate straightness, flatness etc… with magnetic head

4. Plot and test run program for accuracy and according to print spec.

5. Run machine and maintain sufficient wire and load wire spools

6. Perform quality checks

7. Drop slugs or remove waste material from EDM processes

8. Remove block by hand and clean with solvents and air gun.

9. Programming for Wire EDM

10. Coordinate incoming projects and repairs with tooling department staff

11. Program tool paths

12. Establish and meet project time lines.

13. Other activities as requested.
