About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Global Supply Chain to lead and optimize our end-to-end global supply chain operations. This executive will be responsible for procurement, sourcing, manufacturing partnerships, logistics, inventory management, demand planning, and supply chain transformation initiatives across international markets.
The ideal candidate combines operational excellence with strategic leadership, bringing deep expertise in global supply chain management, supplier development, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration to support scalable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the company’s global supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
Lead end-to-end supply chain functions including sourcing, procurement, planning, manufacturing operations, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners.
Drive cost optimization, operational efficiency, and service level improvements across the supply chain network.
Implement supply chain risk management strategies to ensure business continuity and resilience.
Oversee S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization.
Lead digital transformation initiatives including ERP, supply chain analytics, automation, and AI-driven planning tools.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, ESG standards, quality requirements, and sustainability goals.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
Develop KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to monitor operational effectiveness.
Recruit, mentor, and lead high-performing global supply chain teams across multiple regions.
Support mergers, acquisitions, and global expansion initiatives from a supply chain perspective.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
15+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, including senior executive responsibilities.
Proven experience managing complex global supply chain operations in manufacturing, consumer goods, technology, retail, healthcare, or related industries.
Strong expertise in procurement, strategic sourcing, logistics, inventory management, and supply planning.
Experience working with international suppliers and contract manufacturers across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
Demonstrated success in driving operational transformation and cost reduction initiatives.
Strong analytical, financial, and negotiation skills.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, global environment.
Preferred Qualifications
APICS/CSCP, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or related certifications.
Experience in digital supply chain technologies, AI forecasting, and automation platforms.
Strong background in ESG, sustainability, and ethical sourcing initiatives.
Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
