ABA Paraprofessional – Remainder of School Year
Location: Fall River, MA
Schedule: Immediate start through end of the academic school year
Setting: Public/Collaborative School Environment
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated ABA Paraprofessional to support students for the remainder of the current school year in Fall River. This role focuses on providing 1:1 or small-group behavioral and instructional support to students with special needs, under the guidance of a BCBA, special education teacher, or related service provider .
Key Responsibilities
Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs and behavior intervention plans
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students throughout the school day
Collect accurate data on student behavior and skill acquisition
Support students with academic tasks, social skills, and daily routines
Utilize positive behavior support strategies and reinforcement systems
Assist with transitions, lunch, recess, and classroom activities
Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and support staff to ensure consistency
Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience working with children with special needs and/or ABA preferred
Coursework or training in ABA, psychology, education, or human services a plus
Ability to follow behavior plans and take direction from clinical and instructional staff
Strong communication skills, patience, and reliability
Schedule & Duration
Immediate start through the end of the school year
Monday-Friday, school-day hours
No long-term commitment beyond the school year (unless mutually agreed)

Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
