We are seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to support pharmaceutical and life sciences construction projects across the U.S. This role is ideal for a field-driven superintendent with proven experience delivering GMP-regulated manufacturing environments, including pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences facilities. The Superintendent will lead day-to-day field operations on technically complex projects involving cleanrooms, utilities, MEP-intensive scopes, and regulated construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all on-site construction activities for pharma and life sciences projects
Travel to project sites nationwide as required for project duration
Supervise subcontractors across architectural, structural, MEP, and process scopes
Enforce GMP, safety, and quality standards in regulated environments
Coordinate daily work plans, short-interval scheduling, and trade sequencing
Work closely with project managers, engineers, QA/QC, and client representatives
Oversee construction activities supporting cleanrooms, utilities, process piping, and equipment installation
Track schedule milestones and proactively address field issues
Maintain daily reports, safety documentation, and site coordination logs
Support commissioning, turnover, and validation readiness efforts
Required Experience & Qualifications
7+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
Demonstrated experience on pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing projects
Strong understanding of GMP-regulated construction environments
Experience leading MEP-heavy scopes, clean utilities, and technical installations
Willingness and ability to travel extensively for project assignments
Strong leadership, subcontractor coordination, and communication skills
Ability to operate in fast-paced, schedule-driven, highly regulated job sites
OSHA 30 preferred (or ability to obtain)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.09 – $79.32/hr.
