Title: Transportation Coordinator

Location: Remote (strong preference for Midwest time zone)

Company: Fortune 100 Food & Beverage Manufacturing (FuseGlobal has worked with this company for 20 years)

Initial term: 12 months (position expected to run longer)

Schedule: M-F/40 hours per week

This is a remote position with a strong preference for candidates who reside in the Midwest time zone.

About This Role

This is a remote contract role will support a small transportation team of three. The contractor will complete day to day transportation planning activities including scheduling, tendering, product issue resolution, and email communication, while working cross functionally with Operations Planning and Warehouse/Plant teams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage competing requests in a fast-paced environment. They should take ownership of issues, proactively problem solve, and follow items through to resolution.

Transportation or inventory experience is helpful but not required; SAP and Excel experience are a plus. The role requires reliable availability during core business hours, with willingness to support occasional overtime and holiday rotation.

What You’ll Do

• Support a team of three.
• Complete Transportation Planning:
• Scheduling
• Tendering
• Product Issue resolution
• Email communication
• Work cross functionally with:
• Operations Planning
• Warehouse / Plant teams
• Some overtime and holiday rotation required.
