Tax Accounting AI SME Full Time NEW

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Tax Accounting AI SME who will lead the development of the “AI-First Tax Practitioner” track. This isn’t about using a calculator – it’s about building a tax practice that uses LLMs for complex code research, AI agents for document collection, and predictive models for year-end tax planning. The Tax Accounting AI SME will teach learners how to treat AI as a “Senior Associate” that never sleeps.

Duties:
* Design modules on using AI to navigate the Internal Revenue Code (IRC), tax court cases, and private letter rulings with 100% traceability
* Show practitioners how to use AI to ingest thousands of messy K-1s, 1099s, and brokerage statements and map them directly into tax software
* Develop “Knowledge and Action” scenarios where AI identifies tax-saving opportunities (e.g., R&D credits or SALT workarounds) that a human might overlook

REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
