VP of Wholesale Distribution
**Job Description**
The Vice President of Wholesale Distribution is responsible for formulating and executing the company’s overall sales strategy within the wholesale channel. This role involves leading the distribution team to expand and maintain relationships with core clients and channel partners, while driving sales growth and increasing market share in key markets.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Formulate and execute national or regional wholesale distribution strategies to ensure the achievement of sales targets.
* Establish, optimize, and manage the distribution network to enhance channel coverage and operational efficiency.
* Lead the sales team, account managers, and channel support staff, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with key wholesalers, distributors, and major clients to deepen partnerships and improve performance outcomes.
* Oversee market entry strategies, pricing policies, promotional execution, and sales budget management.
* Analyze sales data, market trends, and channel performance to continuously optimize business strategies.
* Participate in new product launches, brand promotion initiatives, and the recruitment and management of distributors.
**Job Requirements**
* 10+ years of experience in wholesale, distribution, the alcoholic beverage industry, FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), or a related sector.
* Proven expertise in channel management and key account management.
* Strong sales leadership, team management capabilities, and sound business acumen.
* Familiarity with wholesale distribution systems, pricing management, market promotion, and inventory/supply chain coordination.
* Results-oriented, with the ability to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
