Wagner Engineering is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to help build Hoops4Hope, a social-impact project combining basketball, livestreaming, and open-source technology for community courts in Tondo, Manila.

The project includes:

• A pickup basketball scheduling app
• Livestream integration for games
• Real-time scoring systems connected to smart hoops
• Open-source hardware and software

Responsibilities

• Help build the Hoops4Hope web/mobile platform
• Implement pickup game coordination and livestream features
• Use AI-assisted development tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) to accelerate development
• Contribute to an open-source engineering project

Preferred Skills

• Computer Science / Engineering student
• Familiarity with JavaScript, React, or Python
• Comfortable using AI tools for coding and debugging
