Role Description
This is a remote contractor role for a Software Developer. Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software solutions for ACT Building Systems’ advanced business system. The developer will work on back-end systems, implement object-oriented programming principles, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality software solutions that meet the company’s needs. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to project timelines will be essential.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science principles and concepts
- Expertise in Back-End Web Development and proficiency in server-side technologies
- Proven experience in Software Development with an emphasis on designing and building scalable solutions
- Proficiency in Programming languages and concepts, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong communication skills
- Familiarity with construction or building systems is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
