Vernovis is looking for a Senior Software Developer who will support our clients Digital Legacy Team. This is a full-stack development role responsible for supporting and enhancing web-based applications, reporting solutions, and information management platforms for a key business subsidiary. This position is ideal for a versatile developer who enjoys working across both legacy and modern technologies, balancing innovation with operational support. You’ll play a critical role in delivering new features and enhancements, maintaining the stability of production systems, and helping modernize existing applications to meet evolving business and customer needs. The role is approximately 40% new development and enhancements, 40% production support and troubleshooting, and 20% application modernization and technical improvement initiatives. What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack business applications using .NET, C#, and PHP, supporting both front-end and back-end functionality.
- Lead development initiatives from technical requirements gathering through solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Enhance and support critical web portals, reporting platforms, and information management systems that support business operations.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure applications remain stable, secure, and highly available.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy applications while delivering new features, enhancements, and continuous improvements.
What You’ll Have:
- Strong full-stack development experience with .NET, C#, and PHP, including both front-end and back-end development.
- Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performing business applications while following software development best practices.
- Experience supporting and modernizing legacy systems, including refactoring code and migrating functionality to newer platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with experience supporting production environments and resolving complex application issues.
- Familiarity with SDLC processes, code reviews, testing, documentation standards, and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT.
