Compensation: $175,000 – $225,000 Base Salary

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Integration Engineer to own and expand our integrations across the property management ecosystem.

This role is focused on building and maintaining mission-critical integrations with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as RealPage, AppFolio, Yardi, and Entrata. You will be responsible for creating reliable, scalable data synchronization pipelines that connect customer systems and power core product functionality.

Unlike traditional backend engineering roles, success in this position is measured by your ability to deliver customer outcomes, solve real-world integration challenges, and maintain reliable data flows across complex third-party systems. We’re seeking someone who has already worked directly with PMS platforms or similar legacy ERP systems and can independently own integrations from discovery and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and long-term maintenance.

What You’ll Do

Build & Maintain Property Management Integrations

• Design, build, and maintain integrations with major Property Management Systems, including:
• RealPage
• AppFolio
• Yardi
• Entrata
• Develop robust bidirectional synchronization pipelines between customer systems and internal products.
• Ensure data consistency, reliability, and scalability across all integrations.

Own Integration Lifecycle

• Lead integration projects from technical discovery through deployment and ongoing support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from unreliable APIs, legacy systems, and incomplete documentation.
• Monitor integration health and proactively improve reliability and performance.
• Build tooling that simplifies onboarding and maintenance of future integrations.

Develop Reliable Data Infrastructure

• Create durable asynchronous workflows capable of handling:
• API failures
• Rate limits
• Data inconsistencies
• Partial system outages
• Build queue-based architectures and retry mechanisms that maintain data integrity.
• Design systems for semi-real-time synchronization between multiple platforms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with:
• Customers
• Customer Success teams
• Sales teams
• Product and Engineering teams
• Participate in customer conversations and technical troubleshooting sessions.
• Translate customer requirements into practical integration solutions.
• Provide technical guidance during implementation and onboarding processes.

Improve Product Connectivity

• Expand support for new property management systems and related technologies.
• Develop browser extensions, automation tools, or supplemental integration methods where APIs are limited.
• Help shape integration strategy and identify opportunities to improve customer workflows.

Experience

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering or integration engineering experience.
• Direct experience integrating with Property Management Systems (required).
• Proven track record building and maintaining API-driven integrations between business-critical systems.
• Experience owning integrations end-to-end with minimal supervision.
• Experience working with legacy ERP systems or complex third-party platforms.
