Senior Accountant – AI Trainer Full Time

Position: General Accounting Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $50–$70/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Develop long-horizon accounting tasks that mirror real-world scenarios with deterministic rubrics.
• Create transactional accounting scenarios such as journal entries and AP/AR with defined cash application rules.
• Design close processes including reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany eliminations.
• Construct supporting analyses with flux explanations against ground-truth variances.
• Work independently and asynchronously to ensure tasks have checkable answers and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3+ years as a staff or senior accountant.
• Expertise in reconciliations, accruals, intercompany, fixed assets, AP/AR on major ERPs like NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, Intacct.
• Ability to read and produce accounting artifacts like JE packages, reconciliations, and trial balances.
• Clear written communication skills for encoding reasoning into deterministic rubrics.

Preferred

• CPA or CPA candidate.
