Safety Technician Full Time NEW

We are seeking a Safety Technician that can ensure workplace compliance with safety regulations by inspecting facilities, conducting risk assessments, and training employees. They actively implement safety protocols, monitor hazardous conditions, and investigate incidents to prevent future accidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspections: Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify hazards, unsafe acts, or environmental issues.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA, environmental agencies, and company HSE-MS standards.
• Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents, near-misses, and injuries to determine root causes.
• Safety Training: Deliver toolbox talks, training sessions, and safety inductions.
• Documentation: Maintain safety logs, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and incident reports.
• Emergency Response: Participate in emergency drills (fire, spill, medical) and act as a first responder.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial safety practices, environmental regulations, and hazard recognition.
• Certifications: Often requires OSHA 10/30-hour cards, First Aid/CPR, or specialized training (e.g., H2S).
• Skills: Effective communication, attention to detail, and ability to use monitoring equipment.
