Ridgeline Construction is a family owned roofing and construction company based in Athens, Alabama. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced roof punch-out technician to join our team. We provide company transportation while on the job, as well as tools, needed to complete the job. Candidates must be able to pass an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check. Candidates will also have access to company provided uniforms, health benefits, and PTO. Pay is based on experience. Must be reliable, hardworking, and motivated. Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean driving record. No speeding tickets going 15+ over listed limit.
- Roofing experience or similar role in construction
- General construction knowledge & experience
- Experience using various hand tools and equipment, such as scaffolds, taking safety rules into consideration.
- Excellent carpentry skills
- Physical strength and good balance
- Ability to work at heights for long hours
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
Responsibilities
- Review, organize, and execute lists and tasks provided by the Project Manager to assist with quality control and home completion.
- Ensure roofs protect buildings from weather conditions, such as rain or snow.
- Use hand tools and other equipment (ex. scaffold, ladder)
- Assist in performing tasks such as prepping roofs and carrying heavy materials.
- Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrates safe work practices.
- Identifying materials needed to complete a punch list.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
