Position Summary

The Risk Analyst I, Pricing & Profitability, will provide data and reporting to various departments to facilitate the identification, documentation, analysis, monitoring, mitigation and tracking of risks for Stellantis Financial Services (SFS) as an organization. The Risk Analyst I, Pricing & Profitability, will also collaborate with other branches of the Risk department, as well as with management from other departments in various business capacities.

Responsibilities

• Uses quantitative and analytical skills to mine, process and analyze data using SQL, Tableau, Python, R, SAS, MS Excel, PowerBI or similar spreadsheet programs and other business tools.
• Develops and presents analysis on performance, trends and projections to upper management to facilitate business and strategic decisions.
• Prepares and distributes recurring and ad-hoc analysis and reporting on portfolios including performance and projections.
• Provides easy-to-understand, action-oriented analytical reports and other presentations to the management team.
• Processes pricing updates with exceptionable precision providing quick feedback on changes needed.
• Present analytical insights on SFS market position to support pricing decisions.
• Identifies and evaluates portfolio trends with respect to delinquency, segmentation exposure, pricing and profitability trends and other factors.
• Trouble-shoots data deficiencies and errors to ensure timely and accurate analysis of the data.
• Confers with IT and functional business lines to evaluate, design, implement and maintain relational databases and/or large data sets.
• Works with the Risk Management team to gather requirements and develop business cases as necessary.
• This position involves regular access to sensitive consumers personal information, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• Risk Internship work or one (1) year of Risk experience in consumer finance industry.
• One (1) year minimum experience in data mining, interpreting data models and databases.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Economics, Risk Management or Finance.

Skills Required

• Intermediate experience with using Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, problem solving, and critical thinking capabilities.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks under minimal supervision.
• Capable of applying common sense understanding to practical situations when carrying out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize diverse data to reach conclusions useful for business strategies.
• Capable of collaborating and communicating effectively with various department leaders and analysts.

Qualifications Preferred

• Prior Auto finance or captive industry is a plus!
• Experience with SQL, Excel, and Tableau or other business intelligence software is a preferred!

Work Schedule

• This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs.
• Typically, between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed.
• Overtime required – required on an as needed basis.
• Travel 0-10% – as required on an as needed basis.
• Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to Dallas, TX.
