We are seeking a dependable and professional Retention Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience working in a professional office environment, is comfortable interacting with clients, and can adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.
This position is ideal for someone who is a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work independently without constant supervision while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional customer service to clients by phone and via email
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Establish, update, and monitor customer accounts
- Accurately input data and maintain detailed records of customer interactions in company CRM
- Perform general administrative and office support duties
- Follow company policies, procedures, and instructions carefully
- Adapt to changing priorities and support team operations when needed
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in the workplace
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience in an office or professional setting
- Prior experience in the retail electricity industry
- Basic understanding of utility billing or energy markets
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to resolve complex or emotional customer issues efficiently
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers, email, and common office software
- Ability to follow directions and adapt to changes quickly
