Program Manager – Epic Full Time

Epic Program Manager – 100% remote (work from anywhere, preference for candidates in or near Pittsburgh, PA). 12–18 month W2 contract; requires 3+ years program management experience, provider/hospital exposure, and familiarity with Epic EHR.

• Location: 100% Remote – Candidates nationwide are welcome; preference for those familiar with Pittsburgh healthcare IT landscape
• Contract Length: 12–18 months (W2 Contract)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shifts per Week: 5 (8-hour shifts)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,130 – $3,710
• Role: Epic Program Manager / Healthcare IT Program Manager focused on Epic Systems and EHR projects

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or 5 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Minimum 3 years of program management experience in healthcare IT or related fields
• Provider/hospital experience required (clinical informatics or digital health projects preferred)
• Familiarity with Epic Systems / Epic EHR implementations and Epic workflows
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must complete the Epic Program Manager Assessment

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of healthcare IT projects, including Epic EHR implementations, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives
• Prioritize work, track dependencies, and optimize resource allocation across multiple Epic projects and clinical programs
• Support IT integration during healthcare system acquisitions with a focus on EHR consolidation and Epic system migration
• Diagnose complex technical and clinical issues, develop solutions, and make data-driven decisions under pressure
• Collaborate closely with Clinical Informatics, digital health teams, clinicians, technical teams, and vendors
• Report to the Director of Clinical Informatics and Digital Health and ensure strong stakeholder management and expectation setting
• Communicate complex technical and clinical information effectively to executives and frontline staff
• Utilize knowledge of healthcare IT ecosystems including EHR/EMR, PACS, LIS, revenue cycle, telehealth platforms, and claims processing systems
