About The Role

We are seeking a versatile and innovative Data Scientist with expertise in machine learning to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing impactful solutions that enhance our digital marketing strategies and client offerings. Your responsibilities include conducting exploratory data analysis, testing hypotheses, and engineering, training, and evaluating machine learning models to solve complex organizational challenges. You will design and interpret experiments to generate actionable insights, collaborate with data engineers to enrich datasets, and develop internal tools utilizing open-source models, including OpenAI-powered systems. Working closely with the Business Intelligence (BI) team and other departments, you will identify opportunities to leverage AI and machine learning, translating business requirements into effective technical solutions. Your role also involves analyzing datasets for insights, monitoring and improving predictive model performance, and staying abreast of the latest trends in data science and digital marketing to continuously enhance organizational capabilities.

Qualifications

• A recognized degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Proven relevant experience in a similar data science or machine learning role.
• Strong understanding of Probability, Statistics, and Machine Learning concepts.
• Experience developing and deploying machine learning models and familiarity with Artificial Intelligence principles.
• Proficiency in Python programming, including libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-Learn, and visualization tools like Seaborn and Matplotlib.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, including implementing unit tests to ensure quality and reliability.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and conveying technical concepts.
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand datasets and identify patterns or anomalies.
• Test hypotheses and develop machine learning models to address complex business challenges.
• Engineer, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models for accuracy and performance.
• Design and interpret experiments to generate actionable insights for marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with data engineers to enrich datasets and ensure data quality.
• Develop and maintain internal tools leveraging open-source models, including OpenAI systems.
• Work closely with the BI team and other departments to identify AI and ML application opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions and provide expert guidance during client and stakeholder engagements.
• Monitor model performance over time, implementing improvements as needed.
• Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in data science and digital marketing.
