Position Summary

Our Marketplace Manager is responsible for the successful operation of the Ledson Gourmet Marketplace located at our winery in Kenwood. The marketplace serves as a friendly gathering place for our guests. It includes a wine shop and offers cheese & charcuterie boards, sandwiches, beverages and snacks, wines by the glass and bottle, and other specialty retail items. It also serves as the primary guest point of purchase and wine club member VIP service center. The Marketplace Manager plays a key role in planning and delivering memorable guest experiences in the Ledson Gourmet Marketplace and through wine club engagement, events and relationship-driven sales. Your scope will include managing and training staff, driving toward revenue targets, merchandising, menu refinement, inventory ordering and management, sales of wines and other goods, and quality preparation of food items.

Featuring gourmet sandwiches, cheeses, baked goods, olive oils, chocolate sauces, fudge, and wine specials; the marketplace provides an exciting atmosphere not only for guests, but also staff who thrive in customer service and sales. Qualifications

· Previous leadership experience required, preferably in the restaurant, retail or wine industries.

· Strong English language skills and a desire to speak with guests and business partners throughout the day while providing exceptional customer service

· Proficiency in using computer software systems, including the Microsoft Office Suite – previous experience with Tock and AMS a plus but not required

· Capable of providing exceptional customer service in all interactions with guests

· Must be able to work full-time hours including weekends, minor holidays, and occasional evenings

· Ability to pass background and drug screening
