Market Manager
This is a remote position based from a personal home office. The candidate must live within the Front Range sales territory of Colorado.
Our client is seeking a driven Market Manager to oversee a defined sales territory and strengthen our presence within the construction materials sector. This is an opportunity to shape regional growth, build lasting client partnerships, and contribute to a company focused on advancing infrastructure across North America.
Work Arrangement: Remote (home-based office)
Travel: Approximately 20–30% overnight travel
Role Overview
This individual contributor position combines territory leadership, account development, and technical customer support. You will be responsible for building and executing a regional business plan that expands market share, safeguards existing business, and positions our solutions competitively.
You’ll collaborate with internal teams while serving as the primary contact for customers within your territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement territory strategies to grow revenue, increase account penetration, and defend market position.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Establish measurable sales and product performance targets aligned with business objectives.
- Apply value-based selling approaches to demonstrate product and service benefits.
- Provide front-line technical assistance and resolve routine product-related inquiries.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and manage opportunities through each stage of the sales cycle.
- Use structured account management practices to optimize time and resource allocation.
- Promote and uphold company health, safety, and environmental standards in all interactions.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred)
Experience:
3–5 years of experience in the construction materials industry
Technical Proficiency:
Experience with CRM and ERP platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SAP), data visualization tools, and standard business software applications
