Manufacturing Planning Manager Full Time

Responsible for establishing manufacturing model including manufacturing efficiency, cost, and quality.

Create manufacturing planning and budget of our new programs in the North America region to ensure the application of the manufacturing model.

Define best manufacturing model of specific product through analysis cost structure and product process, together with finance, logistic and IT department, push the update of CMP/CES or relative standard/procedure for best manufacturing model, and push to implement the best Mfg. model of IP, DP, FC and CSW (in NA).

Work with APD to define the new product process flow and manufacturing model.

Responsible for manufacturing planning:

Phase 0: Based on potential business in TBL-H, input of key customer and internal information, work with team to set up plant manufacture strategy and roadmap.

Phase 1: Based on customer input and plant information, review and approve the quotation, including process flow, cost and concept of machine and tool pack, cycle time, to ensure reasonable and competitive.

After awarded: review and approve manufacturing plan for CAR in global level, follow up the executive condition with actual data in each MSO, especially for global projects. Track and ensure adherence to CMP and best manufacture model.

Responsible for cross-region program AME activity:

Coordinate with AME resource for cross region support (be related to NA).

Organize cross region AME periodical review for specific topic or project.

Responsible for manufacturing KPI improvement:

Cycle time: Establish (NA) CT data base, align the CT estimation formula and do the global alignment to improve YFAI global manufacturing competency. Together with core process team or SDT team to setup cycle time improvement plan.

Consumption: Promote, align and monitor the implementation of consumption.

Responsible for manufacturing assets:

For all region’s (NA) CAR and specific quotation, confirm assets investment align with approved manufacturing planning.

Push to gather region’s (NA) assets list including idle assets to evaluate in new program manufacturing planning and improve assets utilization globally.

Follow up region’s (NA) capacity status, both long term and short term. Assist in review with global team and region capacity management team, support on optimize assets layout through manufacturing strategy, align the action plan for promote assets utilization.
