EveryMind is hiring a Manager, Homeless Outreach Services to join our Homeless and Housing Support Services team. The Manager is responsible for supporting the implementation and management of programs and services within EveryMind’s portfolio serving individuals and families navigating housing instability and/or living unsheltered. Responsible for staff supervision, data management and analysis, monitoring quality assurance and control issues, managing client needs, and other related program duties. As a member of EveryMind’s Management Team, Manager is responsible for managing and responding to client and community needs and collaborating with internal and external leadership to deliver high quality services.

Strong Personal Resilience and Mental Health:
Given the high-stress nature of the role, it is essential that candidates possess a high level of personal resilience and maintain stable mental health. This ensures that they are well-equipped to provide effective support and maintain the professional standards required for client care.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years working in the field of mental health, substance use, or homeless services required. At least 1 year of experience supervising and managing staff is required. Preference given to supervisors who have managed remote teams or staff working across multiple locations. Position requires use of HMIS (Homeless Management Information System). Knowledge or use of electronic record system, electronic health systems, or medical records is strongly weighted. Knowledge and experience providing case management practice is required.
Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to manage multiple tasks while working effectively as a team player. Must have strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically in Excel and data management and gathering platforms.
Abilities:
Effectively interact and work collaboratively in a flexible work environment with a variety of constituents including CEO, board members, clients and family members or caretakers, interns, volunteers, paid staff, and community partners. Ability to express ideas with clarity, confidence and sensitivity. Must be able to maintain confidentiality involving clients in accordance with organizational and federal guidelines. Familiarity with working and hiring interns and volunteers. Able to supervise multiple people.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds frequently. The job’s specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Due to the nature of the content that is handled in the program, anyone who has a history of trauma or suicidality could be at risk of being triggered or re-traumatized. This is especially true for people who have experienced these issues within the past 12 months and therefore we may not recommend this work if their experience is so recent.

The employee must be available to perform the duties of the job mostly during core business hours (between 9-5pm, MF), some flexibility with schedule may be available (evening and/or weekend hours). Employee will work mostly on-site but may work some hours remotely with approval of supervisor. The employee must pass a criminal background check. Certain job functions may require employee to pass a child sexual abuse and other criminal activity as well as a credit check. All staff providing services to staff or clients, must be free of illegal drugs and abuse of alcohol, and must be fully able to perform all required duties at all times.
The employee is also required to travel to different locations. Therefore, the employee must possess a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and have access to a vehicle.
