Large Shear Operator – $18.00/hr | 1st Shift (NO WEEKENDS!)
$18.00/hour | Weekly Pay
Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

We’re hiring a Large Shear Operator to join a growing metals facility! This is a hands-on role working with stainless steel materials, cutting and preparing them for production.
If you’re someone who likes physical work, operating equipment, and staying busy, this is a solid opportunity with long-term potential.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operate a large hydraulic shear to cut stainless steel to size
- Feed and position materials (may require team lifting depending on weight)
- Identify and select materials based on alloy type
- Cut materials to meet production specifications
- Inspect materials and report any defects or issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety and quality standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience with hydraulic shears or metal processing is a plus
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Forklift experience or willingness to become certified preferred
- Strong attention to safety in a noisy, industrial environment
- Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and movement throughout the shift
Work Environment:
- Industrial / manufacturing setting
- Exposure to noise and heavy materials
- PPE required (cut-resistant gloves, sleeves, etc.)
- Use of safety tools and procedures to prevent injury
